2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Bijdhari P.S. Case No. 57 of 2024 lodged on 16.12.2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 80 & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari.
3. As per the prosecution, FIR has been lodged against eight named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is an allegation that they have killed the informant's daughter for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that petitioner is the husband of the deceased and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Counsel further submits that

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that informant's daughter has been killed due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and petitioner is the husband of the deceased.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
7. Petitioner is hereby directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks from today. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Divyansh/- U T
