The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420,467, 468 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66C/66D of the I.T. Act.

The petitioner is said to have tried to steal the password of the ATM Cards of customers.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that there is no evidence against the petitioner to show his involvement in the present case. It is submitted that the name of the petitioner surfaced in the case in the confessional statement of the apprehended

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37841 of 2021(2) dt.21-06-2022 2/2 accused.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submitted that the apprehended accused disclosed the name of the petitioner. Considering the nature of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
