2. Petitioner apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 191(2), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109, 132 and 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. The prosecution story, in brief, is that on 31.10.2024, all named accused persons including this petitioner abused, assaulted and pelted stones on the informant and other police officials who were on patrolling duty.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Allegation of assault is general and omnibus and no specific accusation of overt act has been alleged against this petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
