1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue an appropriate writ/s including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondent to make the payment salary to the petitioner from the period March 1988 to October 2000 taking into account that the petitioner's wife was working to the post of ANM and was not paid salary for the period indicated above during her service period.

(ii) To direct the respondent to make the payment of arrear of salary for above mention

Patna High Court CWJC No.7541 of 2023(2) dt.19-02-2024 2/2 period taking into account that the petitioner's wife was not paid salary during her lifetime. (iii) To direct the respondents to make the payment of pinale interest on the abovementioned admitted dues on account of delay and latches on the part of respondents."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
