In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sonebarsa P.S. Case No.178 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 332, 333, 353 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the F.I.R. the informant had gone for conducting the election of the society, where he was injured by stone pelting. Some one told that it is the petitioner who has injured the informant.

It appears that the informant has given the name of the petitioner on the statement of other persons. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Birendra Sahni, be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30230 of 2018(2) dt.17-05-2018 2/2 anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, IV, Sitamarhi, in connection with Sonebarsa P.S. Case no.178 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Further condition is that whenever the police will call the petitioner for the purposes of investigation and interrogation, he will remain present. In the event of being absent on two consecutive dates without reasonable explanation, the present order will be treated to have been cancelled.
