The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chakia P.S. Case No.57 of 2020 registered under Sections 147, 148, 323, 353, 332, 333, 407, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The informant alleged that on secret information the shop of Ram Bharosh Choudhary was raided and huge quantity of liquor was recovered but many persons assembled there started protesting the search and seizure. The apprehended accused disclosed the name of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not even present at the place of occurrence. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that similarly situated co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned IXth Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No.57 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
