(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/ direction commanding and directing the respondents to release the Scorpio vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No.BR01PJ-1468 which has been seized by the Police in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No.625 of 2023 for the offences under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

(ii) For the further issuance of court/direction order as your Lordships may kind deem fit and proper.

2. In support of the aforementioned relief petitioner has submitted application under rule 12A of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Rules, 2021 read with amended Rules 2022 and 2023 in

Patna High Court CWJC No.7382 of 2024 dt.01-05-2024 2/2 the prescribed form on 6.03.2024. The concerned authority has not taken decision on the petitioner's application till date. If it is not taken any decision as on today he is hereby directed to take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
