2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 115(2), 331(4), 137(2), 351 (3), 352, 61(2), 303(2), 308(2) of the B.N.S.S.

3. Petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have abducted the informant and assaulted him and later on, accused persons dropped him near his house.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the First Information Report has been lodged against six accused persons with general and omnibus allegations that they had taken away the informant and assaulted him on the pretext of the informant implicating them in excise case. It is further submitted that the injury report indicates only 2 injuries one over head face and left forearm and the other over the thigh and these injuries are simple in nature caused by blunt object. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28871 of 2026(3) dt.11-06-2026 2/3 only reason for the custody of the petitioner is that he has several criminal antecedents. It has been submitted that it is only on account of these antecedents, that the petitioner has been made an accused in the present case and he has been granted bail in most of the cases lodged against him. The petitioner is in custody since 29.01.2026 and the charge-sheet has already been submitted.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the general nature of allegations coupled with simple injuries and the charge-sheet also having been submitted, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No- 262 of 2025, subject to the conditions that:- (i) One of the bailors will be a family member/close relative.

(ii) Petitioner shall appear on each and every date fixed in the case and in case of his non-appearance without any
