The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Aurai P.S.Case No. 84 of 1995 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 504, 386 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the fact that the present case relating to demand of rangdari and attempt to commit murder having been instituted in 1995 in which the petitioner was sent up for trial on 07.11.1998 and since then he is absconding, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
