The petitioner seeks bail in Sahebganj P.S. Case No.113 of 2020 registered under Sections 272, 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant on secret inputs raided an orchard and found a truck and other vehicles parked in the orchard. On search, 2100 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The Choukidar disclosed the name of Mukesh Sahni, Ganesh Sahni, Manoj Singh, Tripurari Singh, Anwar Mian, Ravi Singh and Vipul Sahni, the persons who managed to flee away. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. During the course of investigation, Pankaj Kumar and Md. Shabir disclosed the name

It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and petitioner is in jail since 01.06.2020. Petitioner has remained in jail for about four months.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sahebganj P.S. Case No.113 of 2020.
