The petitioners, five in number, apprehend their arrest in a criminal prosecution registered under Sections 307, 353, 379 and some other allied offences under the Indian Penal Code. Taking into consideration the fact that these petitioners are specifically named in the F.I.R. vide Annexure-1 as accused, with specific allegation of their active participation in the crime in question, wherein five police personnel sustained injuries at the hands of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners for grant of anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail made on behalf of the petitioners in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 77 of 2015, pending in the court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Kishunganj, District Madhepura, is hereby rejected.
