2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Samastipur Town PS Case No.506 of 2008 dated 10.09.2008, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 22 and 23 of the NDPS Act.

3. The allegation is of recovery of about 46 Kg. Ganja from the house of the petitioner.

4. Prayer of the petitioner for bail was earlier rejected twice by this Court; lastly order dated 18.01.2025, passed in Cr. Misc. No.74987 of 2024. This is the third attempt.

5. A report was called for from the trial about the present stage of trial which has been received. It appears that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27857 of 2025(3) dt.25-07-2025 2/2 trial is in progress. Bailable and non-bailable warrant of arrest has been issued against the non-appearing witnesses.

6. Prayer of the petitioner for bail has already been rejected on merit. No fresh ground has been made out for reconsideration of bail.

7. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner for bail is once again rejected.

8. The trial Court i.e., 1st District & Additional Sessions Judge, Samastipur, is directed to take all endeavour to conclude the trial at the earliest taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is in custody since long even fixing the case day to day basis, if necessary.

9. The application stands dismissed.
