For Respondent No.1 : Mr. Rana Randhir Singh, Advocate =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-07-2017 Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this appeal by the claimant is liable to be allowed only to the extent of granting interest to the claimant with effect from the date of filing of the application before the Tribunal. Apart from the aforesaid, the Award is reasonable and has been passed after considering all aspects of the matter.
Accordingly, this appeal is allowed in part and direction issued by the Tribunal to pay interest at the rate of 9 per cent per annum from the date of judgment till realization is modified to the extent that interest at the rate of 9 per cent per annum shall be
Patna High Court MA No.193 of 2015 dt.06-07-2017 2/2 payable to the claimant with effect from the date they presented the application before the Tribunal till actual payment.
