The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 140 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in the instant case total 51 liters Nepali Kastoori liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 01.03.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
