JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 Counsel for the Bank undertakes that the revised pension with arrears, if any, will be credited in the account of the petitioner by end of the month of July 2017.
It is made clear that in view of the standing order of the Finance Department with regard to revision of pension, it is the obligation of the Bank to take up cases of pensioners and do the needful.
The Court will take a very dim view of such cases if the Banks or their Branches do not cooperate and unnecessary create litigations and harassment to old pensioners whose entitlement is not in dispute.
