The petitioner seeks bail in Danapur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2019, Special Case No. 2815 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that recovery of foreign liquor has been made from the Khatal which belonged to petitioner. Petitioner has been arrested merely on suspicion. He is not owner of the aforesaid Khatal. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that co-accused Raja Kumar has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 22.4.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. 25136 of 2019.

Petitioner is in custody since 16.3.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27744 of 2019(2) dt.29-04-2019 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 210 of 2019, Special Case No. 2815 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be close relatives of the petitioner.
