The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Three persons including the petitioner were apprehended from a truck which was carrying huge quantity of foreign liquor.

Submission is that the petitioner has been identified as assistant driver of the truck. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 08.12.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27176 of 2019(2) dt.25-04-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Manigachhi P.S. Case No.255 of 2018 giving rise to G.O. Case No.1072 of 2018, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
