1. The Writ petition is filed for the following reliefs:-

1. For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for directing the Commissioner, Saran to heard and pass necessary reasoned order within reasonable time pending before the Commissioner or else.

II. For remanding the matter before the Collector to pass fresh speaking order in view of the provisions of law or/else.

III. For passing necessary order for grant of license of P.D.S. Shop to petitioner or any other other order or orders.

IV. For grant of any other

2. On perusal of the contents of the Writ petition, it is evident that the father-in-law of the petitioner (Late Ganesh Prasad Yadav) passed away on 14.10.2012 who was the PDS dealer since 2007. The petitioner, being the daughter-in-law of Late Ganesh Prasad yadav, made an application on compassionate ground on 29.01.2014. The said application was rejected by the District Officer, Saran, on the ground that Bhaisur of the applicant was employed in the Army. The writ petition further disclose that the mother-in-law and the petitioner are solely dependent on the PDS shop of the deceased Ganesh Prasad Yadav and the baisur of the petitioner is residing separately with his wife at his service place. Therefore, the petitioner claimed entitlement for PDS license on compassionate ground. It is evident that the petitioner has challenged the orders of the District Officer, Saran, before the Commissioner, Saran, on 24.04.2018,

Patna High Court CWJC No.9287 of 2019 dt.22-09-2025 3/3 where the matter remained pending. Accordingly, the Writ petition was filed seeking direction to the Commissioner to hear and pass necessary orders.

3. During the course of arguments, it is submitted by the Learned counsel for the petitioner that the Commissioner has passed appropriate orders. However, he is not aware of the exact date of passing of the orders.

4. Therefore, nothing remains for adjudication in the Writ present petition, as the application of the petitioner has already disposed of by the Commissioner. If at all the petitioner has any grievance, it is for the petitioner to challenge the orders of the Commissioner before the appropriate authority.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ petitions stands closed.
