The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Vaishali (Belsar- O.P.) P.S. Case No. 144/17 registered under Sections 323, 341, 366(A), 383 and 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Considering the submission of victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C as contained in annexure-2 to the instant application wherein she has stated that the petitioner forcibly married her and thereafter subjected her to cruelty in various ways as also caused miscarriage, I am not inclined to
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35605 of 2018 (2) dt.29-06-2018 2/2 grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
