Petitioners are in custody in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 115 of 2020 for the offence under section Rule 3 of Mahua Flower Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case altogether 150 kg. Mahua Flower was seized. It is alleged that the same was accumulated for the purpose of manufacturing country made liquor. The petitioners are in custody since 26.6.2020. Considering the fact that the petitioners have no

No.25431 of 2020(3) dt.15-01-2021 2/2 criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners, let the petitioners, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka, in connection with Special Excise Case No. 327 of 2020 arising out of Chandan P.S. Case No. 115 of 2020 subject to the condition that the petitioners shall deposit Rs. 25000/- cash each in the court below and the amount of RS. 25000/- each deposited by the petitioners shall abide by final outcome of the pending criminal case.
