2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 159 of 2024, arising out of Belhar P. S. Case No. 527 of 2023, in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. It is a case of dowry death.
4. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner denies the prosecution case and submits that there is no specific allegation of demand of dowry against the petitioner. Thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased and petitioner is only victim of circumstances. As a matter of fact, petitioner is separate in mess and property and she has got no concern with affairs of the couple. Charge-sheet has already been submitted. Petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31954 of 2024(3) dt.21-06-2024 2/2 claims clean antecedent and she is in custody since 22.12 2023.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge I, Banka in connection with S.T. No. 159 of 2024, arising out of Belhar P. S. Case No. 527 of 2023.
