The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No.182 of 2014 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 448, 379, 380, 427, 302, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Despite copy having been served to the office of the Advocate General, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State did not turn up to contest the application filed by the petitioner.
Regard being had to the specific allegation made against the petitioner that he fired causing injury on the temporal region of the brother of the informant as a result of which he died, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58720 of 2017 (2) dt.13-12-2017 2/2 Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
