The petitioner in the present case is seeking regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 531 of 2018 arising out of Lalganj P.S. Case No. 188 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 18.12.2019 passed in Cri. Misc. No. 68308 of 2019.
This Court has called for a report from the learned trial court as to the present stage of the trial and the time likely to be taken in conclusion thereof. The report has been received vide letter no. 98 dated 12.11.2020. The learned trial court has stated that the trial is likely to be concluded within 15 days after
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28912 of 2020(4) dt.03-12-2020 2/2 the fixed date of the case i.e. 24.11.2020.
Since the trial is going to be concluded within few days now, this Court finds no reason to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for regular bail is, thus, refused. Let the trial court conclude the trial within 15 days in terms of its letter noticed above.
