BAJANTHRI) 26-02-2024 Randomly perused the auction proceedings records, sixty six vehicles is stated to have been valued by the motor vehicle department for the purpose of auction. Even though 1,800 rupees has been valued by the motor vehicle department. However, in the auction a sum of Rs. 11,000/- is stated to have been fetched. Evaluating of the motor vehicle is by the officers of the motor vehicle department. The subject matter vehicle has been treated as scrap in the absence of any photography and determination of other mechanical issue. In other words, arbitrary manner the proceedings have been conducted by all the officials who are involved in the present lis. Therefore, the officials respondents are hereby directed to pay compensation

Patna High Court MJC No.1349 of 2021(6) dt.26-02-2024 2/2 and it is quantified @ Rs. 50,000/- to the petitioner, in the light of the fact that vehicle model is of the year 2018. Accordingly, the present MJC stands disposed of. The aforementioned compensation should be paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. (P. B.
