JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-05-2016 C.W.J.C. No. 16162 of 2012 was disposed of, on 05.04.2013, with a direction to the respondent no.2 to pass necessary order on the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner submits that without adverting to the points and issue raised in the representation, the District Programme Officer (Establishment) has disposed of his representation in a perfunctory manner.

In a contempt application, the power of this Court in

Patna High Court MJC No.4558 of 2013 (2) dt.04-05-2016 2/2 judicial review is limited to the extent and ambit of direction issued in the matter.

As the representation of the petitioner has been disposed of, no contempt would lie. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order disposing of the representation, he may assail the same before the appropriate forum. The contempt application stands disposed of.
