The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 341, 323, 376 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

In pursuance to the order dated 22.06.2022, status report of trial in connection with Ekchari P.S. Case No. 18 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-X, in which it is reported that charge has been framed against the petitioner and this case may likely to be concluded within three months, subject to cooperation of defence and prosecution. Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Ekchari P.S. Case No. 18 of 2020.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28791 of 2022(3) dt.27-07-2022 2/2 Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months.
