2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 324, 384, 307, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per prosecution case, on 23.06.2024, all the F.I.R. named accused persons came at the shop of informant and demanded Rs. 50,000/- as extortion. Thereafter, again on 24.06.2024, the accused persons came at the house of informant and assaulted informant and his wife. It is further alleged that co-accused Amit Kumar fired upon the wife of informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29619 of 2025(2) dt.12-05-2025 2/2 transpired during course of investigation. Save and except confessional statement, there is no direct or indirect material to show involvement of petitioner in the alleged offence. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that during course of investigation, co-accused Sumit Kumar confessed that this petitioner was involved in the offence and they fled away from the place of occurrence on motorcycle.
6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
