The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 298 of 2017 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedents and having got roots in the society is not likely to abscond or tamper with the evidence and the nature of the allegation made in the FIR, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like
