2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Jandaha (Mahishaur) P. S. Case No. 77 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Section 309(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, three unknown miscreants chased the informant, snatched his mobile phone on the point of pistol and fled away.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during course of investigation.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28693 of 2026(3) dt.09-07-2026 2/2 the bail application and submitted that petitioner has got two criminal antecedents and during investigation, informant disclosed involvement of this petitioner in the offence as he was the one who pointed pistol towards him.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
