In 2014, the FIR was lodged naming the petitioner vide Bihta P.S. Case No. 807 of 2014 registered under section 307 IPC with an allegation that he shot from his country-made pistol causing injury in the left arm of the informant. The petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

Diverse submissions have been made by Mr. Verma in support of the application.

Learned APP opposing the prayer contends that not only there is an allegation of causing firearm injury to the informant but the petitioner also did not submit to the jurisdiction of the court. He does not deserve anticipatory bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43957 of 2016 (3) dt.21-11-2016 2/2 Considering the rival submissions of the parties, in my view, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. Prayer for bail is accordingly rejected.

Let the petitioner surrender and pray for bail which shall be considered and disposed of on its own merit in accordance with law.
