2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for modification of the order dated 3.1.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22337 of 2021, whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 223 of 2019, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that to earn their livlihood, petitioner was out of state and due to lack of awareness, the information regarding grant of anticipatory bail could not be communicated on time and accordingly, the period of surrender has expired. Hence, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44131 of 2024(2) dt.02-07-2024 2/2 petitioner prays for extension of surrender period.

4. It appears from order dated 3.1.2022 that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail and he did not comply with the order for more than two years. He adopted casual approach in complying with the order passed by this Court.

5. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to modify in order dated 3.1.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22337 of 2021.

6. Modification application stands rejected.
