The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Udwantnagar P. S. Case No. 76 of 2017 instituted under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The allegation in brief is that petitioner and others used to torture the complainant and ousted from matrimonial home. It is contended that allegation of demand of further dowry and torture is false rather petitioner's wife is mentally ill and she has been treated for her illness and due to this reason, relationship is strained against her as such petitioner has been falsely implicated.
