Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2) and 96 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a young boy aged about 22 years and is in custody since 25-1-2025 and the informant alleges that her daughter was kidnapped by the accused persons including the petitioner on 19-1-2025 at 7 PM for the purpose of marriage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is next submitted that the petitioner and the informant were known to each other and were on talking terms. It is also submitted that victim has come back and she has not supported the case of the prosecution.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant opposes the bail application, but then is not in a position to rebut the submission of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the victim in her statement recorded under section 183 BNSS has not supported the case of the prosecution.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Revelganj P.S. Case No. 27 of 2025.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to make a rectification at paragraph 4 of the bail application, as it is submitted that inadvertently the date of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29527 of 2025(3) dt.06-08-2025 3/3 custody has been pleaded as 15-1-2025, when it ought to have been 25-1-2025.
