JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-02-2015 In the present application filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the prayer of the petitioners is to quash the first information report of Kesharia P.S. Case No.64 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 341, 323 and 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.822 of 2013 (8) dt.02-02-2015 2/2 The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.

In that view of the matter, I find no merit in the present application. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
