JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-08-2017 This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing the order dated 16.06.2014 passed by the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Muzaffarpur in Vigilance Case No.09 of 2004 registered under Section 7/13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (for short 'the P.C.Act') whereby the court had framed charges against the petitioner under Sections 9 and 13(2) of the P.C.Act. It has been submitted by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the application, the trial has concluded and the petitioner has been acquitted of the charges.
In that view of the matter, the application is disposed of as infructuous.
