The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to pay pension and other retiral dues of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State as well as Accountant General, Bihar have filed their respective counter affidavit and submit that Authority Slip for payment of pension, gratuity and commutation of pension has already been forwarded to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7571 of 2020(5) dt.11-02-2021 2/2 Treasury Officer, Jehanabad - respondent no. 6 for payment of the aforesaid amount in the Bank Account of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner thus submits that a direction may be issued to the Treasury Officer, Jehanabad to make payment within a period of one month.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the stand taken by the respondent -State as well as Accountant General, Bihar, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Treasury Officer, Jehanabad / respondent no. - 6 to positively credit pension, arrears of pension and other retiral dues in the Bank Account of the petitioner within a period of one month.
