The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S. case No. 13 of 2014 under Section 304B, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ramanand Das, the informant, alleged that his sister was married to Pintu Ram, son of Late Suresh Ram, and his sister went along with her husband but when she became pregnant her husband sent her to his native village. The informant alleged that petitioner along with mother-in-law, brother-in-law and husband of deceased and other accused persons killed the sister of informant and cremated her dead body after pouring kerosene oil. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1334 of 2017 (2) dt.17-01-2017 2/2 petitioner is unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased and she has no manner of concern with the family affairs of the deceased. It appears that similarly situated accused Lalita Devi was granted regular bail and regular bail of Chatiya Devi has already been rejected.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
