JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03-07-2018 Heard Sri Harendra Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Sharda Kumari , learned Additional Public Prosecutor The sole petitioner, apprehending her arrest in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 11 of 2018, registered for the offence under Section 30(A), 38, 41(i),(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 , has prayed for grant of bail in the event of her arrest or surrender.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset by way of referring to the statement made in paragraph no. 3 of the petition submits that petitioner is having clean antecedent. He further submits that petitioner is old widow lady and from joint possession of the house of the petitioner Indian make foreign liquor was shown to be recovered. He submits that

However, on perusal of the F.I.R. it appears that petitioner was involved in selling of liquor , and as such, there is no reason to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The petition stands dismissed.
