JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 08-12-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Thakraha P.S. Case No. 139 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B, 201 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is unmarried sister of the husband of the deceased, has falsely been implicated in this case merely because she is relative of the husband of the deceased. Nothing specific has been alleged against this petitioner. Moreover, the husband of the deceased is in custody. It is a case of suicide as from the Post Mortem Report it appears that that the case of death is mentioned as Asphysia due to hanging. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
