2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 25 (1-b)/a of Arms Act. 3 . As per the prosecution case , on the alleged date and time of occurrence , this petitioner after throwing the country made pistol in field escaped from the spot.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged. No incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has got 1 criminal antecedent of similar nature .

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner was identified by the local
