JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Ladaniya P.S. Case No.142 of 2013 registered under Sections 135 of the Electricity Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner was committing theft of electricity by hooking the main L.T. line, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.

Accordingly, his application for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56906 of 2017 (3) dt.20-12-2017 2/2 any manner by this order.
