Mr.Surendra Prasad Singh, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 28-06-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned APP appearing for the State.
2. The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 18.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35469 of 2024(2) dt.28-06-2024 2/2 85746 of 2023 by which the petitioners have been granted anticipatory bail with certain conditions.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners had gone outside the State for earn their livelihood and hence, they could not surrender within the stipulated period and prays for extension of period of surrender.
4. Having regard to the submission made on behalf of the petitioners and the averments mentioned in the modification application, the time to surrender is extended for further two weeks subject to payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- by each petitioners which will be deposited by the petitioners in the coffers of Patna High Court Legal Services Committee within a week.
5. Accordingly, the order dated 18.01.2024 is modified to the aforesaid extent only.
6. This petition stands disposed of.
