The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 22.2.2022 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody since 25.5.2021 ie for more than one year and investigation in the case is concluded. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner vide aforesaid order of rejection dated 22.2.2022 together with

No.30828 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 25.5.2021, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Suppi P.S. Case no.89 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 2nd -cum-Special Judge (Excise), Sitamarhi, District-Sitamarhi.
