In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 71 of 2017, registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 307, 324, 353, 337, 338, 332, 333 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, under Sections 30(a) and 45 of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act, 2016 and under Section 27 of the Arms Act. On secret information, the Police party raided Chakia Dalit Mushari Tola and found that large number of persons were fleeing along with different quantity of liquor. 17 persons have

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31519 of 2019(2) dt.13-05-2019 2/2 been apprehended and huge number of persons have been made accused in this case.

Looking to the number of persons involved in the case, let the above-named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge (Excise), Patna, in connection with Pipra P.S. Case no. 71 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Further condition is that whenever the police will call the petitioners for the purposes of investigation and interrogation, they will remain present for the investigation. In the event of being absent on two consecutive dates without reasonable explanation, the present order will be treated to have been cancelled.
