Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 118 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in this case on the statement of co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. The alleged recovery is made from the vehicle which belong to one Ranjan Kumar. Petitioner is a man of clean antecedent.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33097 of 2018(2) dt.07-06-2018 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise Case No. 118 of 2017 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
