The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married to co-accused Ranjit Kumar Chaudhary six years ago and after marriage the petitioner and her family members started subjecting the informant's daughter to torture for dowry and ultimately they killed her and secretly cremated the dead body with the help of some unknown persons.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against her. Petitioner lives separately and has no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and husband of the victim is already in custody.

In the facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender, let the petitioner mentioned above be enlarged on bail on furnishing

No.29163 of 2020(2) dt.04-12-2020 2/2 bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in Suppi Police Station Case No. 145/2019, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
