The petitioner is a dealer of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. On 14.09.2020, he purchased a Tank Lorry on loan purportedly, on the assurance of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the 'Corporation').

Patna High Court CWJC No.8057 of 2022(2) dt.02-08-2022 2/2 On 04.11.2020, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent to be allowed to engage his Tank Lorry for uplifting petrol/diesel. He gave another representation on 21.01.2021 but no response has been received. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that he has apprehension that there may be theft of petrol/ diesel by the private transporter. Admittedly, his representation is still pending before the Territory Manager (Retail), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Muzaffarpur. Learned counsel appearing for the Corporation submits that the representation shall be looked into and a decision shall be taken thereon at the earliest, in any case, not later than one month. If necessary, the petitioner may be afforded an opportunity of hearing also.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with this statement made by learned counsel for the Corporation. No further adjudication is necessary.

The petition is hereby disposed off.
