JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 20-08-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Punpun P.S. Case No. 77/18, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 224, 341, 323, 353, 427 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(b)( c) of Excise Act. Prosecution case is that police receive information that some persons are taking toddy, on which, police raided the place and arrested two persons, thereafter, large number of persons including petitioners came and started scuffle with the police and they got the arrested persons freed. Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, this application is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise, Patna in connection with Punpun P.S.
