JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For direction to the respondent authorities to pay the arrears of daily wages amount of petitioner from 01.08.2018 to uptill now, which has been withheld arbitrarily by them despite he has been serving continuously as daily wages employee to the post of Computer Operator under Bhawanipur Block in Purnea district to the satisfaction of all his superiors since 13.05.2012. (ii). For further direction to the respondent authorities to pay the penal interest upon the aforesaid arrears of daily wages amount of the petitioner from 01.08.2018 to uptill now.

(iii). For any other relief/reliefs as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8078 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2024 2/2 backdrop of existing facts and circumstances of the case and as well as taking into account the mental agony suffered by the petitioner due to deliberate and malafide approach of them."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
