The petitioner seeks bail in Ghorasahan(Jitna) P.S. Case No.217 of 2020 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police received information that petitioner kept stolen motorcycle and illicit liquor. On such information, the police raided the house of the petitioner. One Hero Splendor motorcycle bearing registration No.BR22E-6036 and 30 litres of country made liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and petitioner is in jail

Taking into consideration the fact that petitioner is in jail for more than 31⁄2 months and he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Ghorasahan(Jitna) P.S.
